I updated this page Radman_Art Art I Press and this page Radman_Art Art II Best Drawings I hope to do this for every page on this blog.

These are actual images from the original backup files from the Tripod Site I paid for over 10 years. This folder is priceless from the trellixdata_backup file. If you unzip it and sort by date modified it lays out from the first file I ever added. This site changed over to 2d art after I took my first art class at college. Before that it was all 3d art from my first certificate in graphic design of Animation. I have all the original stuff from the 3d site as well and hope to share it someday as it was then. I started naming my art back then for the digital art.

The greatest thing about these images is they have all the original names of all the art. I thought each name up when I finished it or sometimes just before I was done or sometimes before I started. The names of each piece is very big deal and has a lot of emotional attachments.

This was the second series I did when Allen Library canceled me out. Let me tell you something about The Living in the Past series I have only shared once on this blog and before that never:

Quoted from the home page of this blog: "The quality is way better than the one I gave away. I did this for a series of paintings I did for my Living in the past series. I never talked about what this series was all about but I will tell you all now. The Living in the Past series of paintings is dedicated to all the great people of music that have past away. It is one of the greatest series I ever did. I want to put some of it on EBay someday."

If you hold your mouse over the image you can see the name in the address in your internet explorer. You can also save it to see the name. The best thing I can do is quote Radman_art Words Page (what it was originally called before I put a bunch of different stuff in it). Quoting this page: http://radmanart2ndhome.blogspot.com/p/little-radmanart-history.html  Go there and search for Living in the Past.

The names of these are very important because they are the names of these legends. So click on clicker.

Some of his songs, concert performances, interviews and public debates in the 1980s criticized and derided Republicans and their policies, President Ronald Reagan, the Strategic Defense Initiative, televangelism, and the Christian Right, and warned that the United States government was in danger of becoming a "fascist theocracy".Zappa expressed opinions on censorship when he appeared on CNN's Crossfire TV series and debated issues with Washington Times commentator John Lofton in 1986. He had always encouraged his fans to register to vote on album covers, and throughout 1988 he had registration booths at his concerts. He even considered running for president of the United States.

http://radmanart2ndhome.blogspot.com/p/little-radmanart-history.html

I quote from that page:

August, 6th, 2009, on the Living in the Past page.
I just want to say words can not express how I feel about the loss of human life. This series is very difficult to talk about. These people have always been precious to me all my life. And the loss of these people has brought me to grieve. I love to talk about my art to people but when it comes to talking about this series I have never fully talked about it to any one. I suppose I could write a book on my examination of it all. Until then I hope you will forgive me for not saying much about it even online. If I should comment on my series and it seems off handed, it is only because I do not have time to speak in depth enough.
Ian Curtis came out cool. His eyes impressed me so much, that I decided to paint his eyes only. He had this sad expression on his face when he preformed on stage. Ian Curtis was the lead singer for Joy Division. His passing has always made me very sad. I had not known that Joy Division existed in my teen. When I had finally listed to them about 10 years ago, it sounded like my life at that time. It was shocking to say the least! Here is this band I never knew existed and they were playing music that was the sound track to my life in my teens. I have the privilege of having a teen age experience that coincided with what was playing on the radio. In other words the coolest music that came out went right to radio and was enjoyed by me and all my fellow teenagers. Not like today young people seem to have nothing, this has always made me very sad.
I do want to say that I remember New Order, because of MTV. New Order was popular during my skate boarding years and I think of the two as connected some how. When I got out to California and worked for the biggest skate board company in the world the radio station out of San Diego played them allot.

John Lennon and George Harrison, this is one of the paintings I gave away to CD Source in Dallas. I quote from the home page of this blog:

I had a bunch of art in the CD store; "CD Source" in Dallas for years, and when they called me to tell me they know longer wanted me to have my art on display there; I told this one guy there who I thought was cool, that he could have it all for free. It is the most and finest quality art I ever gave away.

Another quote from this page:

http://radmanart2ndhome.blogspot.com/p/little-radmanart-history.html

:
"Jully, 2nd, 2009, on the Living in the Past page.
Well I can not believe Michael Jackson died this past week. I found it very upsetting. Like when I heard John Lennon died, it made me want to weep. So I did 2 paintings honoring my Michael Jackson. My parents heard me play my sister’s folk guitar when I was like 8 or 9 years old. They were so impressed by my ability to play songs I remembered; by ear, they bought me a electric guitar and a amplifier and paid for lessons. We were poor at the time; so you know they really believed in me. I formed a band with my brother on drums, my sister on folk guitar and me on electric guitar. My neighbor Luanna on tambourine and back up vocals, I did lead vocals. We played Michael Jackson songs, Bobby Sherman, and The Partridge Family songs, and Osmond brothers songs.
I am including a photo of those days that I had a neighborhood rock band, in this weeks comments. From top left to right that is Carla, my sister, Gail (Carla‘s sister), Luanna (lived in the house next to mine) . The bottom right is Chris (my one and only best friend for 4 years) , Me, Scott (Chris’s younger brother), and my brother. We were dressed up in fifties attire that day.
Michael Jackson was one of my ideals as a child, I owned Jackson Five music. I liked him and his music long before the Saturday morning cartoon came out. When the Saturday morning cartoon came out, I never missed a episode. The music was outstanding, and the graphics were hand drawn. I love Michael and his music up until the Black or white video and album: I stopped following it after that.. I will never forget Michael’s video saying there is no difference if you are black or white. Thinking to myself; awesome! Also I liked the Beatles cover song from that album, come together, right now, over me. Although I stopped following Michael Jackson ‘s newer albums, I am sure they are cool.
Michael Jackson was a pinnacle of pop music. He was the KING OF POP! This world is at a loss because of his leaving."

Per Yngve Ohlin (16 January 1969 – 8 April 1991)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Per_Yngve_Ohlin
better known by his stage name Dead, was a Swedish black/death metal vocalist and lyricist best known for his work with Norwegian black metal band Mayhem.
"Before the shows, Dead used to bury his clothes into the ground so that they could start to rot and get that grave scent. He was a corpse on a stage. Once he even asked us to bury him in the ground — he wanted his skin to become pale."
During one tour with Mayhem, he found a dead crow and kept it in a plastic bag. He often carried it about with him and would smell the bird before going onstage, to sing "with the stench of death in his nostrils". He also kept dead birds under his bed. Still without this guy I am not sure Black Metal would exist the free way it does today.
